Police stopped part two of the Movement for Social Justice Motorcade today, after the office of the Police Commissioner did not receive an application to grant permission.
Today’s event was supposed to start at 7am at Paramount headquarters in South Trinidad and end in Port of Spain to highlight the injustices faced by workers.
MSJ leader David Abdullah was not pleased with the explanation given by police.
Mr Abdullah says the MSJ fully intends to host that second leg of the motorcade, with the date to be announced soon.
The Police Service meanwhile says it will cooperate, once a permission application is made.
