More than 20 homes at Moora Heights Settlement in Rio Claro have suffered damages following the 6.9 magnitude earthquake yesterday.
This was confirmed by Mayaro / Rio Claro Regional Corporation Chairman Glen Ram who says assessments are still being conducted on the 100 plus HDC houses in the area.
He reports that the damages are quite visible and adds that the Corporation is looking to relocate those affected, until repairs are conducted.
Meanwhile the Corporation Chairman says assessment teams are also out in the main town areas, but says only minimal damages are being reported.
