Paid parental leave is being offered not only to female workers at Flow, but the men as well.

Dubbed an innovative and progressive policy, employees of Flow Trinidad can now enjoy paid maternity leave of sixteen weeks and paid paternal leave of eight weeks.

The Policy will provide paid leave to employees following the birth of an employee’s child, the placement of a child with an employee in connection with adoption or foster care, or birth of a child via gestational surrogacy.

Kerry Scott, Chief People Officer of Liberty Latin America, parent company of Cable and Wireless and its consumer brand Flow says “Evolving our parental leave policy, quite simply, is the right thing to do!”

Newly appointed Flow Country Manager, and father of two young boys, Kurleigh Prescod said of the Policy, “I am actually quite excited for all of the mothers who will have Daddy around for eight weeks after birth.”

This novel Policy recognizes the importance of giving parents flexibility and time to heal and/or bond with their new child and adjust to their new family situation – all parents (birth, adoptive and foster).
