Caribbean Airlines will begin its air service to Curacao on August 2nd, once the T&T Civil Aviation Authority approves.

The proposed twice-weekly service, Mondays and Fridays, will leave Piarco at 11:55am and depart Curacao at 2:35pm.

CAL Garvin Medera says this new service opens the way for increased trade, cultural exchanges, tourism and the strengthening of our Caribbean Identity.

With a population of around 161,014 Curaçao is known for its beaches, expansive coral reefs rich with marine life, cuisine and vibrant nightlife.

The pastel-coloured colonial architecture of the capital Willemstad, is iconic, along with the floating Queen Emma Bridge and the sand-floored, 17th-century Mikvé Israel-Emanuel Synagogue.

It’s also a gateway to western beaches like Blue Bay, a popular diving site. The official languages are Dutch, English and Papiamento.
