Naparima Boys College wins Caribbean Drama Festival

The Ministry of Education has praised Naparima Boys’ College for winning the Caribbean Drama Festival.

The team represented T&T this week in the festival in Antigua & Barbuda, and won 10 of the 14 categories.

This is the first year the school has offered ‘Drama’ as a subject at the CAPE level.

In fact, the Ministry says it has seen an increase in the number of students pursuing Visual and Performing Arts at A’ Level.

Minister Anthony Garcia says the Ministry continues to partner with festivals and competitions to provide opportunities for students to showcase their talents.

Among the Performing Arts subjects at CAPE include Dance, Music, Drama and Visual Arts, Animation, Digital Arts, Art and Design, Cinematic Art and Business for the Creative Arts.
