Morvant man in court for McDonald’s manager’s murder

A Morvant man accused of murdering McDonald’s manager Ashmeed Mohammed, will appear in court today.

Mohammed was beaten and shot dead by three armed men at the Restaurant’s Cipriani Boulevard branch on May 20th.

The suspect, a 21 year old WASA attendant, was arrested at his workplace on June 7th, and charged yesterday on the advice of Assistant DPP Tricia Hudlin-Cooper.

In addition to murder, he has also been charged with possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition, and robbery with aggravation.
