More space for farmers at Macoya Wholesale Market

Very soon, parking space should not be an issue for farmers wishing to ply their trade at the Wholesale Market in Macoya.

Currently, many retailers sell goods there, creating a problem of overcrowding, especially in the parking lot.

Today, construction of a new space to accommodate 134 more vehicles began on the northern end of the facility.

And, Agriculture Minister Clarence Rambharat says it will help to continue the inclusion of retailers at the market.
