Ministry warns against ignoring SBAs

Teachers are being warned against not marking Schools Based Assessments.

The Education Ministry claims a resolution from TTUTA following its 38th Annual Conference of Delegates asks teachers not to mark any newly introduced SBAs.

These, they say, include Mathematics and English A.

However, the Ministry says the latest subjects with SBAs were introduced two academic years ago.

The Ministry says SBAs are valuable to achieving a quality education and not marking them will lead to failure for thousands of students.a
