IPL 2018: Kings reign as Gayle blows Sunrisers away

Kings XI Punjab romped to their third win in four games, set up by a blistering Chris Gayle century.

Batting first against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, Gayle smashed an unbeaten 104 from 63 balls – his 21st T20 ton and his highest score against the franchise.

Their total of 193/3 always seemed out of the reach, especially after Sunrisers lost Shikhar Dhawan who retired hurt without scoring.

Kane Williamson and Manish Pandey made half-centuries but Andrew Tye took two wickets with his knuckleballs to help Punjab restrict Hyderabad to 178/4 and go level on points in 3rd place.
