The Alert Level for the Kick ‘em Jenny underwater volcano has increased to Orange due to increased activity.

UWI Seismic Research Centre, which informs Grenada’s officials, says the Orange Level means highly elevated level of seismic and/or other unusual activity.

And, with this, eruption may begin with less than twenty-four hours notice.

Mr. McIntyre is asking his nationals to avoid panicking as they have been well informed by UWI in the past.

The most recent eruption of Kick ’em Jenny occurred in April 2017.
