Government considering BMX Freestyle Park in Central

T&T could soon see a BMX freestyle park.

This is because Government is looking to establish a home for the sport in T&T, which it believes has a large following.

It could possibly be located near the cycling velodrome in Couva, which was toured today by Sport Minister Darryl Smith after a meeting with the T&T BMX Freestyle Association.

It’s also possible that the park would be multipurpose, accommodating skateboarding as well.

BMX Freestyle Association President Trevlon Hall says such a park could provide an opportunity for youngsters to engage in a productive activity and give elites a home to train.
