Caribbean Airlines adds more flights to accommodate ferry passengers

As the heavy passenger demand continues for flights between Trinidad and Tobago, Caribbean Airlines has added more seats.

It says between today and Friday, 28 additional flights have been added to its schedule, which means there is space for 2764 more passengers.

There has been an increase in demand for seats, due to the lack of a ferry servicing the inter-island route.

This, plus he busy Carnival weekend has led to some postponement of flights, even to persons holding confirmed Caribbean Airlines tickets.

CAL says with these additional seats, priority is being given to passengers disrupted by the ferry cancellations.
