Brothers Road church holding a Clothes Drive on Independence Day

The New Testament Church of God in Brother’s Road will be having a “Clothing Drive” on Independence Day.

It takes place at the Church along Brother’s Road near the Brother’s Road Recreation Ground from 9AM.

They are currently in the process of collecting used clothing, handbags, belts, footwear, school uniforms, stationery, sheets, curtains and household items.

The collected items would be sorted out and those deemed to be in a good enough condition would be made available for free at the drive.

There will be a registration process as the church wants to keep in contact with persons.

However, the Church is keeping an eye on the distribution of the items, to ensure all persons receive something on the day.

Persons willing to donate can drop things off at the church in Brothers Road.

The church is asking that persons prewash any item they can before donating.

Also on the day, there would be family counselling and testing for sugar, pressure and cholesterol, all free of charge.

Refreshments would also be made available.

You can call 369-9845 for more information.
