Cricket West Indies says there will be in-country ticket sales for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
Tickets have already gone on sale online, however there have been concerns regarding accessibility for fans.
CWI has since assured that it is committed to ensuring accessible ticket sales for the upcoming tournament.
CWI President Dr. Kishore Shallow acknowledged the region’s reliance on cash transactions and assures that tickets will be available at retail outlets across the Caribbean.
The assurance follows discussions during the 46th Regular Meeting of CARICOM Heads of Government.
The Men’s T20 World Cup will take place from June 1st to 29th in the Caribbean and USA.
