Street dwellers attacked in Barbados, Skulls found in Jamaica

A spate of brutal attacks on homeless individuals in Barbados has drawn condemnation from the island’s Minister of Youth.

One person is assisting police with enquiries as detectives probe the latest attacks.

The Barbados Alliance to End Homelessness reported that several of its clients were severely beaten, with one experiencing memory loss, another being stabbed, and a female client being slapped in the face, among other injuries.

In Jamaica, police are now making checks with cemeteries after what appears to be eight charred human skulls were discovered in a bushy area of Coral Springs in Trelawny on Tuesday.

A top police official said it appeared the skulls were dumped and burnt at the location, an area known to be an illegal dumping site for garbage.
