Nurse: Dropped catches and Gabriel injury cost Windies
Dropped catches and losing Shannon Gabriel to a side strain cost the West Indies the 2nd ODI against England according to spinner Ashley Nurse.
The 28 year old from Barbados took 3 wickets as the Windies fell short in the match, ultimately conceding the series to England with a game to go.
There were 5 catching opportunities that went begging, while Gabriel had to leave the field after bowling just 3 overs for 17 runs and the early wicket of Sam Billings.
According to Nurse, this left the Windies with too much to do following their sub-par innings with the bat.
The final match of the series will take place in Barbados on Thursday with the Windies attempting to avoid a whitewash.
