Tourism Ministry launches free ‘offline’ app called ‘Go Trinbago’

The Tourism Ministry has created an app as a means of staying relevant in the industry.

Speaking at the launch of the 100% offline app called ‘Go TrinBago’, Tourism Minister Shamfa Cudjoe says it will take the experience of tourists to a whole new level.

The app is a free, bilingual and interactive destination mobile app that allows travellers to access information for discovering and exploring T&T.

She believes though that the app comes at a critical time for T&T, when its tourism industry needs to remain competitive.

The mobile app provides all the sites, attractions and fetes available in T&T, as well as allows users to book a room, a tour or even a taxi and also provides turn by turn directions.

The app is available on the Google Play Store for download, but will be ready for iPhone users by February 10th 2017.
