West Indies show fight on Day 3 vs. India

The West Indies are showing a better fight in the second Test against India at the Queens Park Oval with the match still in the first innings after three days.

The visitors, batting first, scored 438 all out in the first innings, with a century from Virat Kohli.

The wicket-takers for the Windies include Kemar Roach and Jomel Warrican, with three scalps each.

At stumps on Saturday, the West Indies were 229 for 5, still trailing India by 209 runs, with captain Kraigg Brathwaite top scoring so far with 75 runs.

With two days to go, the match is far from over, but the West Indies can’t rest yet, as they’ll need to bat far into Day 4 and dismiss India early to stand a chance at victory.
