There have been mixed reactions to on-screen kisses by Kajol for her latest project, “The Trial”.

This is the actress’ first web show and its is about a mother struggling to keep her family afloat after her husband is caught in a bribery and sex scandal.

She joins a law firm to make ends meet and it turns out the firm is co-owned by her ex-boyfriend from college.

One kiss is with co-star Alyy Khan, who spoke about the scene previously.

He said, “It was such a professional shoot. And when we were done — we rehearsed three or four times — and we walked over to the monitors, asked each other if we were happy, and moved on. Kajol said, ‘Thank you, my darling’.”

Kissing scenes remain uncommon in many Bollywood projects in particular, and there are always mixed reactions when they are included.
